Matthew Good - White Light Rock and Roll Review
Matthew Good’s seventh full studio album, and by far one of his best. Unlike the previous albums Matt has released, White light rock and roll review has very raw and untamed sound to it. Keeping in style of traditional Rock. This album takes you back to when rock was more than just a pop culture and still had attitude to it.
The raw sound and lack of polishing, makes white light rock and roll stand out from any other album Matthew Good has ever released. Only using equipment that was around back in the seventies, with the exception of recording equipment helped create the atmosphere which makes White light rock and roll review a pure joy to listen to. So raw and edgy. Quite the departure from his previous albums.
Songs such as North American for life take a political stance on our current world. While songs like buffalo seven leave you sitting there going whoa, wondering how something so simple could sounds so good.
There isn’t really anything special about this album, it doesn’t break any genre or anything like that but it makes you sit down and go wow now that’s good. So simple and straight to the point. Being a guitarist myself I can really appreciate this album, it is heavily guitar driven.
As with all the previous albums, Matt Good released the lyrics have to be the best part. As an artist Matthew Good has always had a way with words, trying to figure out what the hell some of the songs are about is part of the enjoyment of listening to his music, and White light rock and roll is no different.
White light rock and roll review has to be one of the best albums I’ve heard in quite a while. If you’re a fan of raw untamed, rock music. Definitely think of picking up this album I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I give it a overall score 9/10

Just recently I had the opportunity to see Matt Good live in concert for the second time, and let me be the first to say he puts on one hell of a good show. So I decided to post some pic’s I took at the concert some are bit blurry but still worth a look.
