Evil Arrives for the DS.

The first Resident evil game for the DS, I am about a good hour through it, first off its pretty much a port of the original resident evil released on the Playstation all those years ago, graphics intact as well as all those cheesy real film cinemas.

Besides the fact it’s an old game that’s just ported, there are bunch of new features I’ve ran into as well. Such as the game having a rebirth mode I am still trying to distinguish the difference. Another difference is the switch between first person knife slaying and the usual 3rd person static views, make sure you have your stylus ready or you’ll get torn apart in seconds. There is also a bunch of WIFI stuff I couldn’t get into yet, such as coop mode and versus mode where you take on a room full of the undead and mutated.

Apart from it’s a port a game I’ve played already in two different incarnations I am just happy to be able to play a resident evil game on the go. I just wish developers would stop porting and start creating some new stuff. That’s another topic my friends.
