Good old Tetris. The game play is as fun as ever. There are plenty of new modes and game types, but I won’t lie. The first thing I did was get into a wi-fi matchup. I, of course, got the living shit kicked out of me.

I’ve been playing random online matches for the last hour or so, and I’ve only won once. It’s been so long since I played Tetris, and even while losing, I’m remembering how much I love the game.

It's also a testament to the quality service Nintendo offers to play online. It's completely simple, and gets you into matchups as fast as possible. I've had a few random disconnects from other people. Whether it was the service or them getting bored, I have no idea, but every game I have played has been smooth and quick.

There is no shortage of competition out there, either.

I also like the fact that all the menus/mission modes and such are all Nintendo themed. Complete with animated backgrounds and remixed music tracks. It's like a trip down memory lane.
